Interior Design Sales Rep

We are actively looking for an interior design Sales representative with Operation Management skills to join our team based in Cambridgeshire. The ideal candidate will be confident, with a proven track record, they will be responsible for sales and executing the “back end” of a business.


 

Duties include:

  • Creating and define a sales strategy with Directors.
  • Face to face meetings, telephone, emails, zoom meetings etc.
  • Create & manage automation tools to increase sales process efficiency.
  • Drive & monitor marketing and advertising activities.
  • Follow up & closing of sales.
  • Researching and analysing data to create sales forecasts.
  • Monitor and coordinate with directors regarding new clients
  • Monitor the delivery and installation of products.
  • Identify procedures that can be improved and can implement new methods of working.
  • Assisting in recruiting and training newly hired staffs.
  • Oversee and Coordinate internally with team members on operations of business.
  • Identify and liaise with service providers as and when required/renewals are due.
  • General office duties.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Preferred ‘Bachelor’s degree’ or higher in business or equivalent but not a necessity.
  • 2+ years of industry experience
  • Must be proficient in sales operations management through previous roles.
  • Requires excellent professional outlook presentation and computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Interior Designer

We are actively looking for an experienced and creative Interior Designer to join our team based in Cambridgeshire. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in designing and delivering high-quality interior projects. They will be responsible for leading and managing projects from concept to completion, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with clients.

 

Duties include:

  • Manage and assist all aspects of interior design projects, from concept to completion.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and goals and develop designs that meet their requirements.
  • Develop innovative design solutions that exceed client expectations.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines.

·      Conduct field measurements, site visits and installations.

  • Liaise with the design Director during the design process.
  • Organise and attend client meetings, presenting plans and information for review and approval.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in interior design.
  • Researching, studying, and implementing various styles of furniture designs
  • Planning scheme designs for showhomes, private clients, marketing suites, heritage properties
  • Material and colour selection
  • Outsourcing of fabrics, granites, and other materials
  • Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with the purchase clerk for the quotation of materials and delivery.
  • Liaise and meet with Sales representatives of all the fabric houses we use
  • Order samples and prepare presentation boards.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in interior design or similar.
  • 2+ years of industry experience
  • Requires excellent computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Design Manager and ability to read blueprints such as AutoCAD Photoshop and/or Sketchup is a plus but not required.
  • On-site and project management experience including full delivery of projects from concept through to completion
  • Must have knowledge of design trends and styles.
  • Must have colour basic knowledge.

Seamstress - Soft Furnishings

We are seeking a skilled Seamstress (Soft Furnishings) to join our interior design team. As a Seamstress, you will be responsible for manufacturing soft furnishings to the highest standards, contributing to our bespoke interior design projects.
 
 

Duties include:

  • Operate industrial sewing machines to sew pieces of fabric materials together for the production of soft furnishings (e.g., curtains, cushions, bedspreads).
  • Read and interpret work orders, patterns, and specifications to determine machine settings and sewing procedures.
  • Cut materials according to patterns and templates.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company and client standards.
  • Maintain and clean sewing machines and work area.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with interior designers and other team members to achieve project deadlines and client expectations.
  • Keep records of production quantities and times.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Seamstress , preferably in an interior design or soft furnishings manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to operate and maintain industrial sewing machines, including overlock, lockstitch, and coverstitch machines.
  • Knowledge of different fabrics, materials, and sewing techniques specific to soft furnishings
  • Ability to read and interpret patterns, technical drawings, and work orders.
